We’re not taking about body-paint swimsuits (though those are pretty sweet), this here is art on a different level. I found this from @davidblaine, yes THE David Blaine and I thought I’d share it with you. The artist’s name is Alexa Meade. I wish I knew how to better describe it to you, but instead I’ll take a quote from her website:
“Alexa Meade is an installation artist based in the Washington, DC area. Her background in the world of political communications has fueled her intellectual interest in the tensions between perception and reality… Alexa Meade’s innovative use of paint on the three dimensional surfaces of found objects, live models, and architectural spaces has been incorporated into a series of installations that create a perceptual shift in how we experience and interpret spatial relationships.”
For those who skipped all that, she paints on people (and other things) to make THEM part of the painting. I’m putting up a couple more. You can see more here on Alexa’s Flickr page.
