Jun Seba, AKA Nujabes, was an underground Japanese hip-hop producer who recently passed away in a car accident. I started listening to his music earlier this year, and while his beats definitely aren’t club bangers, this may be hip-hop headphone music at its finest. If you guys are a fan of downtempo/soulful/jazz/smooth hip-hop beats, I think you’ll really enjoy this guy’s music.
Also, if you’re an anime fan, you might recognize him as the producer of pretty much the entire soundtrack of Samurai Champloo.
