Floyd Mayweather Jr. went on an racist and homophobic rant about Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao this morning via Ustream. Mayweather referred to Pacquiao as a midget several times and said that once he beats his rival (if the fight ever happens), he will force Pacquiao to “make some sushi rolls and cook some rice.” He also said “we’re going to cook him with some cats and dogs.”

How much more ignorant can you get?! I mean don’t get me wrong…I don’t mind the “cook him some rice” comment due in large to rice being our “main staple” of food….but cats and dogs…brah get it right, we eat dogs NOT CATS!!!! I’m really fuming over that comment. PLEASE PLEASE boxing world make this fight happen. In the meantime hit us up with your thoughts…CATS and dogs..*sigh*

If you didn’t see our post last Thursday, Christmas will be coming early this year in Texas…so if you haven’t marked your calendar for November 13th yet, YOU BETTER do it now. This may be the appetizer we all need before Pacquiao wipes the floor with Mayweather next year. (YEAH I said it).

ESPN reported that Margarito’s application for a license in Texas was approved despite California denying him a license on a 5-1 vote earlier this month. Margarito’s license was revoked in the wake of his January 2009 knockout loss to Shane Mosley in which Margarito’s hand wraps were found to be illegal before the fight.

Margarito and Pacquiao will meet Nov. 13 on HBO PPV at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. It will be Pacquiao’s second consecutive fight at Jerry Jones’ $1.2 billion home of the Dallas Cowboys, but against a far more controversial opponent than Joshua Clottey, whom Pacquiao easily outpointed there on March 13 in defense of his welterweight belt on the arena’s first boxing card.

After talking to a friend last night over dinner I had to look this up. The California State Athletic Commission on Wednesday denied former welterweight titlist Antonio Margarito a boxing license on a 5-1 vote after a nearly six-hour hearing in Los Angeles. Margarito is expected to ask TEXAS for a license in the hopes of being granted one in order to fight Pacquiao at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington in an HBO PPV fight on Nov. 13. Will Christmas come twice this year in Texas? I have to believe Jerry (Jones) will make it happen…I mean someone has to pay for that massive stadium out in Arlington?!? STAY TUNED.
